Physical activity is one of the main components of a healthy lifestyle. There is a common belief that physical activity is one of the most important categories determining the proper functioning of the human body. Leading an active lifestyle has many benefits. The benefits of taking up physical activity are obvious. Systematic physical activity is a very strong biological stimulator and is one of the main determinants of human physical and mental health. Regular physical activity determines the quality and length of human life. Properly selected activity also enriches the intellectual sphere and allows you to maintain a balance between the condition of the body and the state of mind. Physical activity contributes to a better psychophysical condition, as well as feeling better. Nevertheless, in the general issue of physical activity, the concept of physical fitness is also important, which defines and determines whether a person is capable of undertaking any activity that includes movement components.
Physical fitness is the sum of the efficiency of all body organs, the level of motor skills (strength, speed, endurance), as well as the consequences of the individual characteristics of the body structure of a given person. Physical activity is an essential element of everyone's life, it is especially important in the case of children and adolescents. Applies to small children up to 3 years of age, children in pre-school, early school and school age. Movement is a key factor determining the correctness of developmental processes and reduces the risk of many diseases in adulthood. Therefore, physical activity is an important factor shaping health, healthy habits, but also spending free time in a valuable way. Limiting activity brings a number of consequences in the form of malaise, lack of energy, obesity or increased tension. These are just some of the effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Movement is a manifestation of life, hence any form of neglect in this sphere will cause noticeable discomfort.
