The traditional Standard dance teaching mode has gradually separated from the pace of social development. Contemporary students are in an era of information explosion. The former heavy skill training, light theory teaching” education model has been unable to meet the contemporary students’ desire to learn. Mechanical imitation and training methods for the development of Standard dance education are more harmful than good. In order to change this situation, we should update the old educational concept, need to “life-oriented, cultural and military compatibility” educational concept as the future dance talent development direction. Therefore, it is imperative to study task-driven pedagogy in the teaching of Standard dance, with “drive” as the core, stimulate students’ self-drive and creativity, and lay a solid foundation for students’ future dance careers.
