Modern state-of-the-art in the field of clinical appications of the non-invasive magnetocardiographic method is summarized and reviewed on the basis of the bibliography data over the last 30 years. Based on the latest knowledge of the current-structure relations in the ventricular wall, a new phisiologocal interpretation of the results of magnetocardiographic studies is suggested.
