This report describes the development of an augmented reality system, both on software and hardware point of view. I used Arduino's own software called Arduino IDE to program and built my system on it. In the system, I have three ultrasonic sensors on the breadboard which I used to detect motions. Both the hardware and software are successfully running for detecting motion and camera can track the marker. This prototype also provides a valuable model for future system. The general aim of this project is making the embedded system Arduino to use augmented reality with the detection of hand motion and respond to them. I made a system to understand hand motions with ultrasonic sensors and apply this to augmented reality, from left to right and right to left. Each motion represents a command which changes picture on the screen.
