Відповідність масштабів і методики досліджень забезпечує повноту достовірної інформації про будову, склад і стан геологічного простору. Для впевненого прогнозу геологічного розрізу (фактор визначеності більше 0,9) необхідно мати збіжність від 4 до 8 незалежних параметрів різних геофізичних полів. Це забезпечує коефіцієнт успішності пошуково-розвідувального буріння в межах 0,62 - 0,8.
