Проведені дослідження надходження цезію та стронцію до рослин. Показано, що вміст 137Cs [подано формулу] у всіх одночасно відібраних на даній дослідній ділянці рослин різних видів незначно відрізняється один від одного. Вміст 137Cs у відібраних у різнийчас рослин одного виду на тій самій ділянці може інколи відрізнятися більше ніж у 10 разів. Відношення Sr/Ca у рослині у межах експериментальної похибки дорівнює цьому відношенню у відповідному грунтовому розчині й практично не змінюється з часом. Вмістстронцію у рослині, що виросла на даному полі, визначається вмістом кальцію у цій рослині.

Investigations of cesium and strontium uptake by plants were conducted. The investigations shown that 137Cs […] content in all selected at the same date different kinds of plants differ slightly for the land. Content of 137Cs […] in the selected in different times the same kind plants from the same site differ sometime in more than 10 times. Ratio Sr/Ca in the plant is equal to the ratio in the corresponding soil solution for all investigated soils and plants and is practically invariable with lime. Content of strontium in the plant at the land is determined by calcium content in this plant.
