Вивчаються енгелеві ряди алгебр Лі Lm асоційованих з силівськми р-підгрупами симетричних, груп порядку рn (р - просте число). Показано, що k-ий член енгелевого ряду збігається з k-им членом нижнього центрального ряду цієї алгебри.

We study the Engel series of Lie algebras associated with the Sylow p-subgroups of symmetric groups of degree pn (p is a prime). It is shown that the k-th term of the Engel series coincides with the k-th term of the lower central series of this algebra.
