Проведено теоретичний аналіз поняття "ідентичність", історія його становлення та інтерпретація у наукових працях. Автор аналізує поняття-концепти "технології", "досвід" та "влада" як фундамент ідентичності у теорії Мануеля Кастельса. Також, у статті виділено соціальні, політичні та культурологічні процеси, як такі, що пов'язані з технологічними трансформаціями та глобалізацією економіки за нового соціального устрою - Інформаційної Епохи.
The article provides a theoretical analysis of the notion of "identity", the history of its development and interpretation at research activities. The author analyzes concepts of "technologies", "experience" and "power" as fundament of identity in theory by Manuel Castells. Moreover, the item describes social, political and cultural dynamics associated with technological transformations and with the globalization of economy during new type of the social order - Information Age.
