В роботі отримано розв'язок одновимірного рівняння коливання із запізненням. Використовуються спеціальні функції: запізнюючий косинус та запізнюючий синусом.

The solution of a scalar wave equation with delay is derived in the form of a series by using the special function. Special functions called delay sine and delay cosine are introduced in the paper.
