У статті висвітлюються проблеми книжкової справи та історії книги, які посідали чільне місце на шпальтах фахових часописів Галичини першої чверті ХХ ст. Головну увагу приділено аналізу журналу "Стара Україна" (1921–1925), проаналізовано проблематику публікацій, охарактеризовано авторський склад дописувачів, визначено особливості тематичних чисел видання, наголошено на вагомому значенні видання у становленні вітчизняної бібліології, розгортанні українського книжкового руху 1920-х рр.
The facts enlightening the problems of Book business and Book History, that took important place in professionals of Galicia at the beginning of the XX century have been stated. The main attention is paid to the analysis of the magazine "Stara Ukraina / Old Ukraine" (1924–1925) as mutual periodical edition of the bibliographic commission, the museum and the library of Scientific Sosiety named after Shevchenko: problems of publications have been enlightened, author cast of correspondents has been characterized, peculiarities of thematic editions have been determined, significant meaning of the edition in formation of the native bibliology, developing of the Ukrainian book movement of the 1920s is stressed.
