Анотація:
У статті показано, що процес розширення ЄС викликав чимало досліджень щодо міграційних потоків з країн ЦСЄ та їх впливу на ринку праці у межах ЄС після включенння даних країн до складу Євросоюзу. Описано нинішню міграційну політику ЄС та оціненої потенційні потоки трудової міграції з країн ЦСЄ до старої Європи.
EU enlargement has raised concern among scholars and politicians about the migration flon from Central and Eastern European countries and its impact on the labour markets ofEUmem ber states when the EU decided to accept the 10 CEE countries as new EU members. This pape aims to highlight the recent EU migration policy and assess the labour market effects ofpotentit migration flows from CEE on current EU members. We find that the EU enlargement migratio flows from CEE has only a limited impact on the labour market of the EU member stata Employment opportunity, geographic distance, and human capital endowment are the keyfactoi determining the size of migration flows from CEE.
