Статья посвящена проблеме межгосударственных отношений между Римской республикой и птолемеевским Египтом к первой половине I в. до н.э. Анализируется процесс римской аннексии владений Птолемеев в Киренской области, в общем контексте внешней политики Рима на эллинистическом Востоке. На примере Киренаики данное исследование обобщает политику Рима в отношении его египетских союзников - династии Птолемеев.
The article is devoted to the problem of the interstate relations between the Roman republic and Ptolemaic Egypt to the half 1st century BC. There is analyses process of the Roman annexation of the Ptolemaic possessions in the Cyrena region in general context of the Rome's foreign policy in the Hellenistic East. Present studying sum up the policy of Rome concerning its Egyptian allies - the Ptolemaic dynasty on example of the Cyrenaica.
