Статтю присвячено аналізу діахронічних змін у семантиці японської ономатопоетичної лексики. Автор виділяє три групи ономатопоетом, які протягом VII-XX ст. зазнали суттєвих семантичних змін, наводить кількісні показники розподілу ономатопоетичнихлексем відповідно до виділених груп, з'ясовує закономірності й можливі причини цих змін.
The article is sanctifed to the analysis of semantic changes of the Japanese onomatopoeia at the historical development process. The author distinguishes three groups of onomatopoeia, that during VII-XX centuries had gone through substantial semantic changes, brings quantitative
indexes over of assignment of onomatopoeia lexemes in accordance with the distinguished groups, fnds out regularity and probable reasons of these changes.
