Показано, как изменяется трилогия по сравнению с ранним романтическим историческим романом, а также присутствует ли в жанровых свойствах истор. романа что-то, что предвещает переход в roman populaire. Анализ трилогии А. Дюма в данном контексте позволяет говорить о создании А. Дюма некоего синтетического жанра - популярного (народного) романтического истор. романа, намечая тем самым дальнейший переход в жанр roman populaire.
The article focuses on A. Dumas' trilogy about musketeers which represents an example of mature historical novel in the romanticist tradition. The paper considers how the trilogy changes as compared with the early historical novelsand whether there are in the historical novel’s poetics some features that herald the transition to ‘roman populaire'. The analysis of A. Dumas' trilogy in this context enables researchers to speak about the creation of a synthetic genre — the popular romantic historical novel heralding further transition to ‘roman populaire'.
