Стаття присвячена дослідженню тематичних відхилень у редакторському, літературознавчому та психолінгвістичному аспектах. Тематичне відхилення описане як багаторівнева проблема, пов’язана з психологією сприйняття та розуміння тексту читачем. Визначено місце процесу з’ясування тематичних відхилень у структурі редакторського аналізу.
The work is dedicated to research of thematic digressions in editorial, literary and psycho- linguistic aspects. In the article it is reviewed literature on the subject of determination of thematic digressions of text in psycho-linguistics, journalism and editing; it is explicated a work notion of thematic digressions on the base of definitions that already exist in the science. The thematic digression is described as a multilevel problem connected with psychology of text's perception and understanding by the reader; it is determined as well the place of shaping of process of thematic digressions in the structure of editorial analysis.
