У статті аналізується монографічне дослідження, присвячене становленню і розвитку Київської школи кримінального права у період з 1834 р по 1960 р. Своєрідність праці вбачається у поглибленому вивченні персоналій вчених, належних до вказаної школи, поєднаному з викладом фрагментів найважливіших публікацій цих вчених.
Manuscript research devoted to the formation and development of Kiev School of Criminal Law during the period from 1834 to 1960 is analyzed in the article. Originality of the paper is observed in advanced study of the personalities of scientists who belong to this School and connected to covering fragments of these scientists' most important publications.
