Як правило, відгуків офіційних опонентів на дисертації не публікують. А проте відгуки - це своєрідний жанр наукової літератури, який відображає діалог двох науковців. Опонент - водночас і критик, і співавтор дисертанта. Він не лише критикує, а й висвітлює нові для автора грані наукової проблеми. Тут ми публікуємо відгук доктора філологічних наук, завідувача відділу соціолінгвістики Інститу української мови НАН України Лесі Олексіївни Ставицької на дисертацію О. А. КОПУСЬ "Перифрази у творах О. Гончара:структурно-семантичний та функціонально-стилістичний аспекти", подану на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата філологічних наук.

As a rule, judgements on thesis of official opponents are not published. However judgements are a special genre of scientific literature that reflexes the dialogue between two scientists. At the same time an opponent is a critic and a co-author of the dissertation's author. Simultaneously he criticizes and lights for the author new aspects of a scientific problem. Here we publish a judgement of Stavytska Lesya - Doctor of Philological Sciences, Head of Socio-Linguistics Department of the Institute of the Ukrainian Language at the National Academy of Science of Ukraine on the thesis of O. A. Kopus' "The periphrasis in the work of O. Honchar: structural-semantic and functional-stylistic aspects" on a candidate's degree of philological sciences.
