The aim of the article is to examine the influences between Ludwig Wittgenstein's
philosophy and communicative philosophy (analyzing the works of
Jьrgen Habermas). The author submits that these positions may be compared
on the ground of their views concerning the nature of norms, moral
actions and human coexistence. To clarify controversial statements of two
traditions, author, following the Chantal Mouffe terminology, divides philosophers
into the two main groups – representatives of contextualistic point of
view and representatives of universalistic view.
