Розглянуто фольклорні інклюзії в оповіданні Володимира Винниченка "Федько – халамидник". З'ясовано особливості використання фольклоризмів, вплив на розв'язку твору. Аналізується символіка, яка засвідчує причетність головного героя до потойбічного світу,а також вказує на його смерть вкінці оповідання.
The folklore including is considered in the story of Volodymyr Vynnychenko
"Fedko-khalamydnyk" (Fed'ko the Mischief). There are found out the features of folklore-oriented words and syntagms, and their influence on the plot of a work. Symbolism which certifies the protagonist's involvement to the world of dead and also specifies on his death in the end a story is analysed.
