У статті з історичного та феноменологічного погляду аналізується фрагмент із "Моління" Данила Заточника про жінок. Висловлюється припущення, що його поява у творі зумовлена особистими причинами автора або вставлена пізніше новими редакторами пам'ятки. Характеристика жінок у "Молінні" в цілому відповідає середньовічним уявленням про них, що пояснюється присутністю в давній українській літературі релігійно-християнського дискурсу у ставленні до жіночої природи.
The paper analyzes, from historical and phenomenological point of view, a fragment on women from "Praying" of Daniel the Immured. The author assumes that it was written out of private motives, or it was appended later by the editors of the text. The description of women in "Praying" is generallyconsistent with the medieval ideas on that point, which can be explained by Christian religious discourse, especially concerning the attitude towards female nature, in old Ukrainian literature.
