У статті на основі даних лексикографічних джерел проаналізовано загальну кількість лексичних латинізмів, зафіксованих у старослов'янській мові. Таке дослідження сприятиме подальшому тлумаченню латинського елемента в історії розвитку окремих слов'янськихмов.
Studies on the lexical influence Latin exerted on Old Church Slavonic are limited in number. At the same time there is a lack of contributions devoted to a quantitative analysis of Latin lexemes in the strict Church Slavonic canon. For this reasonthe primary aim of the present article consists in an approximate evaluation and description of those Latinisms which can be found in early Church Slavonic texts.
A classification of such words is necessary for a more reliable assessment of the entire classical linguistic heritage in Old Church Slavonic and in Slavic languages at large. Moreover a quantitative analysis of the attested Latinisms is particularly useful for comparative purposes with other languages of the early medieval period.
In this article I have based my account on the data derived from a standard lexicographic source such as the Staroslavjanskij Slovar' (1994) edited by Cejtlin et al. I am aware that the lexemes reported in the paper cannot give a complete account of all attested Latinisms in Old Church Slavonic and that some of the reported words will still need etymological verification. It was nonetheless necessary to create an initial corpus of data on which to base further researches in this field of studies.
В статье по данным лексикографических источников проанализировано общее количество латинизмов, зафиксированных в старославянском языке. Это способствует надлежащей и дальнейшей трактовке латинского элемента в истории развития отдельных славянских языков.
