У статті досліджуються прецедентні тексти Святого Письма в епідейктичному красномовстві Григорія Богослова, аналізуються комунікативні наміри, згідно з якими автор вводить у свій дискурс біблійні тексти, визначаються когнітивно значимі для мовної особистості Григорія Богослова прецеденті тексти Святого Письма.
The article investigates communicative intentions, due to which the Christian author Gregory the Theologian incorporates precedent texts of the Holy Scripture into his epideictic sermons. It also analyzes the communicative strategies and language tactics, which were used in communication between a Christian preacher and the audience of believers.
The article covers the precedent texts of the Holy Scripture, which are of primary importance for establishing the authors' language personalities and studies the phenomenon of biblical intertextuality in Christian epideictic rhetoric prose.
The study established that the precedent texts of the Holy Scripture are incorporated into the epideictic sermons of Gregory the Theologian with the purpose of collation of the models of the hero's behavior with the archetypal behavior models of biblical heroes. The use of precedent texts of the Bible is called forth by the communicative intentions of appeal to an authoritative source, creation of the archetypal image of Christian perfection, belief in the necessity of its following, and discrediting antagonistic heroes as personification of sin and darkness.
В статье исследуются прецедентные тексты Священного Писания в эпидейктическом красноречии Григория Богослова, анализируются коммуникативные намерения, согласно которым автор вводит в свой дискурс библейские тексты, определяются когнитивно значимые для языковой личности Григория Богослова прецедентные тексты Священного Писания.
