The article analyses the terminological apparatus for the national-and-cultural component's studies. The purpose is to provide information on current publications about a particular topic. The literature review identifies various important issues/questions raised in the literature, sort and categorize experts' views according to the questions identified in the literature. It the article author gives a detailed analysis of new terms and functional peculiarities. The new definition of a "national-and-cultural" component is also proposed.
