У статті оглянуто сучасний стан присутності українського кіномистецтва у світі та проаналізовано основні причини її низького рівня. Визначено основні моделі, за якими забезпечується присутність українського кіно у світі: участь у міжнародних кінофестивалях і покази на Днях культури, комерційний і некомерційний прокат, а також промоційні акції, організовані спільно державними й недержавними структурами. На підставі аналізу сформульовано висновки щодо шляхів посилення присутності українського кіномистецтва у світі.
The situation with the representation of Ukrainian films in the world is reviewed in the article. The main reasons why its level is rather low are also analyzed. The main modes of presence of Ukrainian films abroad are determined: participation on international film festivals, organization of the 'Days of Ukrainian culture', commercial and non-commercial screening in cinemas as well as special promotional actions for Ukrainian film art usually co-organized by state and independent artistic agencies. This analysis let us come to the conclusions about possible ways of improving of the representation's forms of Ukrainian films abroad.
