Михайло Драгоманов - один із провідних діячів українського відродження ХІХ ст., значну частину свого життя прожив у еміграції. Перебуваючи поза межами контролю російського самодержавства, він зумів спрямувати український рух від культурництва до формування політичних партій.
Mihaylo Dragomanov is one of the leading figures of the Ukrainian revival in the nineteenth century, although he spent much of his life outside of Ukraine. Staying out of control of the Russian autocracy he was able to direct the Ukrainian movement from cultural activity to the formation of political parties.
