Semi-empirical technigue for modeling of turbulent shear flows and several methods of their control is presented. The developed methodology is based on Navier-Stokes system of governing equations and its simplified form of the boundary layer type system of equations together with several modifications of Prof. V. Movchan's algebraic model of turbulent viscosity. The possibilities of elaborated methods are illustrated on the base of comparison of predicted theoretical results with corresponding experimental data.
