- Анотація:

In the paper, we discuss results of a theoretical study of peculiarities of Mie scattering on spherical droplets at the frequenses of 36.5 Ghz and 94.0 GHz for the purpose of retrievign cloud and rain parameters with a dual-wavelength Doppler radar. We have proposed a method of the estimation of the median diameter by using the Ka- and W-band dual-wavelength differenses of the mean Doppler velocity and the Doppler spectrum width.
