This paper describes the contours of a Dutch monitoring and reserch site for climate change and related atmothferic processes. The station has large benefits for atmothferic science, both in The Netherlands and internationally. It provides a platform for collaboration in this important field, and will provide the routine obthervations needed to asses the impact of the different atmosperic parameters on the local climat. The station can play a major role in supporting worldwide satellite measurements of climate related parameters.
