A number of models have been developed for the assessment of air pollution produced by aircraft activities inside airport area. It consist of the following basic components: engine emission inventory calculation; transport of the contaminants by engine jets; dispersion of the contaminants in atmosphere due to wind and atmospheric turbulance. The develpoed models include the influence of the operational factors and allow to determine the adverse conditions of the pollution, wich are necessary for Environment Impact Statement calculations. Soft tool PolEmiCa was designed for air pollution and aircraft engine amission calculations.
