On the basis of experimental studies have established that the main cause of failure of the pistonpump oil and gas industry is a failure pair of seal – rod, which is working under the reciprocatingmotion, catastrophic wear due to the ingress of abrasive friction zone. First proposed to usea vibrating cleaner (wiper) to prevent abrasive and calculated parameters of its operation, thusimproving the reliability of these pumps.
