We've proposed phase of ionization method of electrical-thermal destruction (breakdown) ofpolymer films of pads that are in an excited state, and we've given estimation of method ofmetal-polymer triboconjugate. The durability of metal-polymer friction pairs of triboconjugatedependents largely on the durability of the polymer film lining in the electric field during electro-thermal-mechanical friction. The purpose of the work is evaluation of ionization method ofelectrical-thermal destruction (breakdown) of polymer films linings in metal friction units.
