We've analyzed serial brake pulleys and have given an estimate of the heat balance and energyloading of rim layers, and intensification of the cooling of metal-polymer friction brakes. Objective– evaluation of energyloading of metal-polymer friction pairs of band-block brakes anddevelopment of methods and means of its decline. We have considered the following questions:design features of brake pulleys and evaluation of their thermal balance; evaluation ofenergyloading of metal layers of frictionelement; intensification of metal-polymer cooling offriction brakes.
