The phase, chemical composition, structure and abrasive wear resistance features nitrogentitaniumaluminized applying coatings on technical iron, steel 12Х18Н10T, steel ШХ15, steelУ8A, hard alloy ВК8.It was established that under the assumed conditions of saturation on the surface of commercialiron, structural steel ШХ15, 12X18H10T, instrum-experimental steels У8A, 9XC, ВK8 carbidecoating is formed in the wc тav which includes a barrier layer of titanium nitride TiN. Nitrogensource involved in forming titanium nitride are nitrogen remaining in the material after nitriding.The barrier properties of the layer are TіN in the can-valued at chemical heat treatmentdiffusion of titanium and aluminum in the framework, and elements of the framework in thecoating.Suggested coatings increase abrasive wear resistance of all the proposed alloys 1.6-2.2 times.Can be regarded as such coatings-governmental prospects for improving the properties of complexmachine parts and tools.
