In this article are revealed some aspects of adaptation of the contemporary Ukrainian legislation and EU legislation as a necessary foreword of successful realization of European intentions of Ukraine. Research of convergence of the legal system of Ukraine with the law of the European Union should be seen as an important component of efforts towards gradual integration of Ukraine into the European political, economic and legal space. So, adaptation of the current Ukrainian legislation to the EU is a mandatory factor in successful realization Ukraine's European aspirations. Understanding the importance and complexity of this process, the constructive cooperation of all branches of government, the successful application of approaches and methods to the versatility of the European legal framework, as well as taking into account the experience of the associated EU countries will have a positive outcome. European integration involves the purposeful implementation of European standards in all spheres of public life by Government and Ukrainian Parliament. However, it is necessary to properly understand the current state of European integration processes that require not only accurate, but also more energetic step of Ukrainian state's leadership, which relate primarily to the effective implementation of the reforms in Ukraine, not in the distant or near future, but immediately.
