Administrative responsibility plays an important role among other types of liability for ensuring legal order in society. Note that the specified type of responsibility is the most commonly used. Every year the state recorded a few million cases of bringing to administrative responsibility. The importance of administrative responsibility stems from the fact that the administrative offenses are one of the most common among all types of offenses. Administrative responsibility has a number of specific features that distinguish it from other kinds of legal responsibility. Thus, it is applicable for offenses that do not contain a great danger to society – administrative offenses and in some cases, its activities may also be used upon release from criminal responsibility, that is, for acts that have elements of crimes that do not pose great danger to society.
