At low approach velocity it is difficult to control flying boat alighting on water safely and quickly because the drag increases at lower speed of approach. Speaking in control theory terms, this phenomenon means the adverse transient response due to the change of the system zero from minus to plus. To overcome this disadvantage the augmented steering wheel control system of flying boat alighting on water is proposed.
