Preparation for the centenary of aviation and the 70-th anniversary of National Aviation University (NAU) has stimulated doing research into creation and development of aviation and astronautics as well as Ukraine's contribution into this important branch of scientific and technological progress. An attempt has been made to analyze life stories of various generations of NAU's alumni, e.g. what has been done by them and what they are doing for the benefit of their alma mater and developing it into leading educational institution-preparing specialists for civil aviation.
