This paper describes a study evaluating the use of Flight Management System data for conflict detection and resolution via the usage of Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications in a partially or fully automated mode. Adaptive reasoning based on controllability (maneuverability) dynamic aircraft model is investigated. Improved prediction accuracy may enable development of more advanced Decision Support System for Air Traffic Management.
