Presented is a review of researches devoted to the problem of viscous drag reduction during motion of a body in a fluid. Have been analyzed results of numerical simulations of transitional and turbulent boundary layer over a deformed and non-stationary surfaces, as well as correlation of the structure of flow in the boundary layer and integral characteristics of the body viscous drag.
