Experimental and mathematical simulation has been undertaken to understand various flows in engineering and Nature associated with porous or obstructed layers called Penetrable Roughnesses. Experimental results both of laboratory and full scales display significant interaction between decelerated and unobstructed flow regions. Method of mathematical modelling is suggested and verified by a consequence of generalized models investigated analytically and numerically.
