Головною темою картини «Погляд» є саморефлексія. Питання, які були розглянуті під час написання цієї роботи, – це питання дорослішання особистості в складних життєвих умовах, таких як втрата дому під час війни; питання минулого як складника становлення особистості; питання самопізнання та руху вперед.
Робота складається з картини та стенду з дзеркалом. На картині зображений автопортрет авторки з птахами на тлі. Постать має пронизливий погляд та дивиться прямо на глядача. Птахи, які розчиняються на тлі, уособлюють минуле авторки та його забуття.
Інсталяція з дзеркалом створює інтерактивний простір з та спонукає глядача стати елементом мистецького простору, разом із художницею. Дивлячись у дзеркало, глядач все рівно бачить зображення авторки, що наштовхує на роздуми про діалог.
Загальна кольорова гама створює тривожний та меланхолійний настрій. Фактура створює емоційну напругу, а композиційне рішення підкреслює головну ідею твору.
The main theme of the painting “The View” is self-reflection. The issues that were considered during the writing of this work are the issue of personal growth in difficult life conditions, such as the loss of home during the war; the issue of the past as a component of the formation of the personality; the issue of self-knowledge and moving forward.
The work consists of a painting and a stand with a mirror. The painting depicts a self-portrait of the author with birds in the background. The figure has a piercing gaze and looks directly at the viewer. The birds that dissolve in the background personify the author’s past and its oblivion.
The installation with a mirror creates an interactive space with and encourages the viewer to become an element of the artistic space, together with the artist. Looking in the mirror, the viewer still sees the image of the author, which prompts reflections on dialogue.
The overall color scheme creates an anxious and melancholic mood. The texture creates emotional tension, and the compositional solution emphasizes the main idea of the work.
