Abstract:
Дипломна робота досліджує ідею нескінченного колообігу часу та цінність людського існування через призму воєнних і соціокультурних потрясінь сучасної України. У теоретичній частині проаналізовано філософські концепції циклічності – від давньогрецького «вічного повернення» до ідей Ніцше й Юнга - та їхнє втілення у візуальному мистецтві. Живописна композиція поєднує символи природи й механіки, світло й темряву, відтворюючи досвід війни та надію на відновлення. Центральний образ – жіноча постать, що розчиняється серед абстрактних хвиль і фрагментів механізмів, ніби зупинена між минулим і майбутнім. Робота передає контрастність емоцій – від трагедії та хаосу до відродження й духовного очищення – і пропонує глядачеві зазирнути у власну пам'ять та відчути безперервність історичного процесу.
The diploma project explores the idea of the eternal cycle of time and the value of human existence through the lens of war and socio-cultural upheavals in contemporary Ukraine. The theoretical section analyzes philosophical concepts of cyclicality – from the ancient Greek notion of «eternal return» to the ideas of Nietzsche and Jung – and their embodiment in visual art. The painting unites symbols of nature and machinery, light and darkness, conveying the experience of war and the hope of renewal. At its center is a female figure dissolving amid abstract waves and fragments of mechanisms, suspended between past and future. The work captures emotional contrasts –from tragedy and chaos to rebirth and spiritual purification – inviting the viewer to look inward and feel the continuity of history.
