Сучасна трансформація жіночих образів в українському мистецтві 2014-2024 років

Abstract

Зміна у сприйнятті ролі жінки в сучасному суспільстві, особливо на тлі воєнних дій, дедалі частіше стає важливою темою художнього відображення. Аналіз сучасного українського жіночого мистецтва засвідчує наявність тісного зв’язку між трансформацією образів Жінки-Матері, Жінки-Берегині та Жінки-Воїна і змінами соціокультурного контексту. Образ Жінки-Матері поступово відходить від традиційних стереотипних уявлень. Сучасні мисткині дедалі частіше інтерпретують його крізь призму проблематики репродуктивного насильства та суспільного сприйняття жінки як матері. Образ Жінки-Берегині також зазнає значної переоцінки: він більше не репрезентується виключно як символ ідеалізованої богині-охоронниці, а натомість набуває ознак сили, автономності та суб’єктності, поступово трансформуючись в образ Жінки-Воїна. Найглибших змін зазнає саме образ Жінки-Воїна: від алегоричного символу боротьби він переходить до репрезентації жінки як повноправної учасниці бойових дій, в контексті рівності та активної громадянської позиції. Поряд із цим формуються нові образи, зокрема, образ жінки-жертви як спосіб рефлексії особистої та суспільної травми. У роботі також досліджено феномен феміністичного мистецтва, включаючи радикальні форми на кшталт «вагінарту», провокативність якого у сучасному контексті втрачає свою первісну силу, що спричиняє поступовий відхід мисткинь від цієї тематики у напрямку пошуку нових візуальних та концептуальних форм художнього висловлювання. Наукова новизна дослідження полягає в окресленні трансформації образу жінки в період 2014-2024 років. Тема, попри свою актуальність, залишається недостатньо дослідженою у сучасному українському мистецтвознавстві. Це пояснюється як незавершеністю самого процесу змін, так і значним обсягом нового художнього матеріалу, що потребує системного аналізу. Відтак актуальним постає вивчення процесів переосмислення жіночого образу задля виявлення нових рис, акцентів і відмінностей. Структура роботи. Основний текст складається із вступу, трьох розділів, висновків ( 75 с.), списку використаних джерел (76 позицій), списку ілюстрацій (43 позицій), додатків ( 22 с.). Загальний обсяг дипломної роботи – 113 с. The changing perception of the role of women in contemporary society, especially against the backdrop of military conflict, is increasingly becoming an important subject of artistic reflection. An analysis of contemporary Ukrainian women’s art reveals a strong correlation between the transformation of the images of the Mother-Woman, the Guardian-Woman, and the Warrior-Woman and the shifts in the socio-cultural context. The image of the Mother-Woman is gradually moving away from traditional stereotypical representations. Contemporary female artists increasingly interpret it through the lens of issues such as reproductive violence and the societal perception of women primarily as mothers. The image of the Guardian-Woman is also undergoing significant reevaluation: it is no longer represented solely as an idealized goddess-protector, but is instead acquiring qualities of strength, autonomy, and subjectivity, gradually transforming into the figure of the Warrior-Woman. The most profound changes are occurring in the representation of the Warrior-Woman: from an allegorical symbol of struggle, she is now depicted as a full-fledged participant in military actions, framed within the context of equality and active civic engagement. Alongside these transformations, new images are emerging — notably, the image of the Woman-as-Victim, serving as a means of reflecting personal and collective trauma. The thesis also explores the phenomenon of feminist art, including radical forms such as "vaginart," whose provocative nature in the current context is losing its original impact, leading artists to gradually move away from this theme in search of new visual and conceptual forms of artistic expression. The scholarly novelty of this research lies in outlining the transformation of the image of women in the period from 2014 to 2024. Despite the topic’s relevance, it remains underexplored in contemporary Ukrainian art scholarship. This can be explained both by the ongoing nature of these changes and by the vast amount of new artistic material that still requires systematic analysis. Therefore, the study of the reinterpretation of the female image is a timely and important task, aiming to identify new features, emphases, and distinctions. Structure of the thesis. The main text consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusions ( 75 pages), a list of references ( 76 items), a list of illustrations (43 items), and appendices (22 pages). The total length of the thesis is 113 pages.
