Вплив символізму в живописі Віктора Цимбала

Abstract

Мета кваліфікаційної магістерської роботи полягає в комплексному дослідженню символічної мови в живописних полотнах Віктора Цимбала, обґрунтування мистецького доробку майстра в контексті українського мистецтва 20 століття. Здійснено аналіз історичних та культурних передумов формування індивідуальної символічної мови Віктора Цимбала, та ключових чинників, які вплинули на процес формування творчої особистості художника. Визначено ключові символи та їх інтерпретацію в олійних роботах художника, розглянуто аспекти авторської символічної мови та проведена типологія символічних мотивів у творчості Віктора Цимбала. Другий розділ «Віктор Цимбал: шлях становлення митця» присвячено історичним даним про життєвий і творчий шлях художника, розкрито вплив символізму на його творчість, та розглянуті філософсько-світоглядні аспекти символізму в творчості митця. У третьому розділі «Символічна образність у творчості Віктора Цимбала» розглянуто основну тематику символічних художніх образів митця: 1)творчий процес світотворення; 2) сакральні сюжети з їх авторською інтерпретацією; 3) звернення до історичної та прадавньої пам’яті українців. Цей аналіз мистецької спадщини дозволив зробити типологію символів у творчості Віктора Цимбала, та виокремити п’ять основних категорій: космогонічні, сакральні, історичні, архетипні та природні символи. Наукова новизна дослідження визначається тим, що у роботі вперше: 1) комплексно розглянуто живописний доробок Віктора Цимбала, незалежно від його здобутків в графіці; 2) проаналізовано філософсько-світоглядні основи символічної авторської мови митця; 3) визначено ключові символічні сюжети та специфіку художньої образності у живописній спадщині митця. Практичне значення дослідження полягає в перспективі використання результатів дослідження в подальшій науковій роботі присвяченій: 1) аналізу розвитку символізму в українському живописі ХХ століття, з включенням в аналіз символічні роботи інших українських митців зазначеного періоду; 2) атрибуції та введення в науковий обіг олійних робіт Віктора Цимбала, які входять до складу іноземних приватних колекцій; 3) організації мистецької виставки творів Віктора Цимбала (з врахуванням робіт з приватних колекцій), для повного представлення творчого символічного доробку широкому загалу. Апробація матеріалів кваліфікаційної магістерської роботи. Основні положення та висновки дослідження були апробовані на 1 міжнародній науковій конференції: тема доповіді «Архетипи та символи у творах живопису України межі ХІХ - ХХ століття» (Дванадцяті Платонівські читання пам’яті академіка Платона Білецького, Україна, Київ, 30 листопада 2024 року) та1 публікація у науковому фаховому виданні – «Історико – культурні аспекти розвитку символізму в живописі України на межі ХІХ-ХХ століть» (Вісник Національної академії образотворчого мистецтва і архітектури (Вісник НАОМА), №2, опубліковано 31.10.2024 року). Кваліфікаційна магістерська робота написана самостійно та не містить плагіату. Структура роботи. Робота складається зі вступу, трьох розділів, висновків, списку використаних джерел (81 позиція); трьох додатків: Додаток А – «Список ілюстрацій», Додаток В – Ілюстрації (13 позицій); Додатку С – Таблиця 1: «Символічні архетипи в живописних інтерпретаціях Віктора Цимбала; – Таблиця 2: «Багаторівневість символічної мови у творчості Віктора Цимбала». Загальний обсяг роботи становить 105 сторінок, з них 73 – основного тексту. The purpose of the qualifying master’s thesis is a comprehensive study of the symbolic language in the paintings of Viktor Tsymbal, substantiation of the master’s artistic achievements in the context of Ukrainian art of the 20th century. An analysis of the historical and cultural prerequisites for the formation of Viktor Tsymbal’s individual symbolic language and key factors that influenced the process of forming the artist’s creative personality was carried out. Key symbols and their interpretation in the artist’s oil paintings were identified, aspects of the author’s symbolic language were considered, and a typology of symbolic motifs in Viktor Tsymbal’s work was conducted. The second section “Viktor Tsymbal: the path of becoming an artist” is devoted to historical data about the artist’s life and creative path, reveals the influence of symbolism on his work, and examines the philosophical and ideological aspects of symbolism in the artist’s work. The third section “Symbolic imagery in the work of Viktor Tsymbal” examines the main themes of the artist’s symbolic artistic images: 1) the creative process of world creation; 2) sacred subjects with their author’s interpretation; 3) appeal to the historical and ancient memory of Ukrainians. This analysis of the artistic heritage allowed us to make a typology of symbols in Viktor Tsymbal’s work, and to identify five main categories: cosmogonic, sacred, historical, archetypal and natural symbols. The scientific novelty of the study is determined by the fact that the work: 1) comprehensively examines Viktor Tsymbal’s pictorial work, regardless of his achievements in graphics; 2) the philosophical and ideological foundations of the artist's symbolic author's language are analyzed; 3) the key symbolic plots and the specifics of artistic imagery in the artist's pictorial heritage are identified. The practical significance of the study lies in the prospect of using the results of the study in further scientific work devoted to: 1) the analysis of the development of symbolism in Ukrainian painting of the 20th century, with the inclusion in the analysis of symbolic works by other Ukrainian artists of the specified period; 2) attribution and introduction into scientific circulation of Viktor Tsymbal's oil paintings, which are part of foreign private collections; 3) organization of an art exhibition of Viktor Tsymbal's works (including works from private collections), for a full presentation of the creative symbolic achievements to the general public. Approbation of materials of the qualifying master's thesis. The main provisions and conclusions of the study were approved at 1 international scientific conference: the topic of the report “Archetypes and symbols in the works of Ukrainian painting at the turn of the 19th - 20th centuries” (Twelfth Platonic Readings in Memory of Academician Platon Biletsky, Ukraine, Kyiv, November 30, 2024) and 1 publication in a scientific professional publication – “Historical and cultural aspects of the development of symbolism in Ukrainian painting at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries” (Bulletin of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Bulletin of the NAOMA), No. 2, published on 10.31.2024). The qualifying master's thesis is written independently and does not contain plagiarism. Structure of the work. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusions, a list of sources used (81 items); three appendices: Appendix A – “List of illustrations”, Appendix B – Illustrations (13 items); Appendix C – Table 1: “Symbolic archetypes in the pictorial interpretations of Viktor Tsymbal; – Table 2: “Multilevelness of symbolic language in the work of Viktor Tsymbal”. The total volume of the work is 105 pages, of which 73 are the main text.
