Abstract:
Образи минулого тісно пов’язані з баченням майбутнього у цьому плакатовому проєкті.
Серія плакатів «Боротьба незламних» бере за мету показати важливість та необхідність цінувати свою культуру і поважати традиції. Тематичними аспектами серії стали: «ботьба за свою мову», «єдність народу», «боротьба за ідентичність», «шана полеглим воїним», «домопога братського народу», «ціна перемоги». Очевидно, що такий ряд цінностей не є унікальним — він характерний для будь-якого народу, який виборов, має і пильнує свою країну, незалежність, свободу, власний виразний культурний і мовний простір. Саме тому проєкт — одночасно про Україну і про рідну для автора Грузію. Символами сучасного спротиву автор обирає зразки холодної зброї — водночас виразні носії візуальної культури і артефакти споконвічної боротьби за власну гідність.
The images of the past are closely connected with the vision of the future in this posters` project. A series of the posters «The Struggle of the Indomitable» has the aim to show the importance and necessity to value its culture and respect traditions. The thematic aspects of the series are «fighting for the own language», «unity of the people», «fighting for the identity», «respect to the fallen warriors», «assistance of brotherly people», «price of victory». Obviously, the following row of the values is not unique - it is typical for any nation which cares of the own country, its independence, freedom, own special cultural and language space. Therefore, this very project is about Ukraine and natively for the author - Georgia at the same time. The samples of the cold weapons selected by the author are considered as the symbols of the modern resistance and at the same time the expressive carriers of the visual culture and artifacts of the eternal struggle for own dignity.
