Abstract:
Автор на основі власного реставраційного досвіду та виявлення
друкованих джерел і творів українського, російського та західноєвропейського іконопису, реконструює техніку золочення ХІХ ст. із застосуванням
сучасних матеріалів. Результати дослідження можуть бути використані у
галузі мистецтвознавства (для вивчення та атрибуції іконопису), у рес-тавраційній практиці (при реконструкції втрачених елементів). Методика
золочення може значно розширити можливості сучасних іконописців щодо
виконання золотого тла ікон. Стаття супроводжується ілюстраціями —
зразками різновидів техніки золочення.
In this article the author provides her own methods of reconstruction the gilding technique of the 19th century using the modern materials,
based on her own restoraton practice and the investigation of the works and
sources of the Ukrainian, Russian and West-European icon painting. The results
of the investigation can be used in the sphere of art study (during examination
and attribution of the icon painting) and the restoration practice (while reconstructing the lost pieces). The gilding technique can greatly increase the capacity
of the modern icon-painters during the decoration the golden background of
the icons. The article is accompanied with the sample illustrations showing the
variety of gilding methods.
