Планувальні принципи організації велосипедної інфраструктури великих міст України на прикладі Києва

Abstract

Мета статті– дослідити організацію мережі велосипедних доріжок у великих містах України, зокрема на прикладі Києва, та розробити методи планування цілісної та функціональної велосипедної інфраструктури у містах-мільйонниках, а також оцінити стан велоінфраструктури як складової загальної транспортної системи. Методи дослідження.Дослідження ґрунтується на аналізі вітчизняної та зарубіжної джерельної бази і натурних спостереженнях щодо нинішнього стану велодоріжок Києва. Результати.У цій статті на основі розглянутих прикладів організації веломереж, зокрема західноєвропейської практики, запропоновано рішення, які сприятимуть як оптимізації велосипедної інфраструктури Києва, так й інших великих міст України. Висновки.В результаті проведеного дослідження було з’ясовано, що проблемою велотранспорту в українських містах є сприйняття велосипеда як розважального засобу, а не транспортного. Українська веломережа відрізняється від західноєвропейських насамперед тим, що складається з окремих відрізків шляху без належного сполучення між ними. На основі зібраної інформації було обґрунтовано, що велосипедна інфраструктура міста має забезпечувати зручний та безпечний маршрут між зонами житла, роботи та відпочинку як у межах міста, так і в передмісті. The purpose of the article is to investigate the organization of the network of bicycle paths in large cities of Ukraine, in particular on the example of Kyiv, and to develop the principles of planning a complete and functional bicycle infrastructure in such cities and to assess the condition of the bicycle infrastructure as a component of the general transport system. Research methods.The research is based on the scheme of the planning organization of the network of bicycle roads in Kyiv, research and observations that provide detailed information about the organization and state of the bicycle network. The results.This article examines various examples of the organization of networks, including those of various European countries, and provides solutions that will contribute to eliminating or alleviating problems related to the insufficient development of bicycle infrastructure in our country. Conclusions.The conducted research allows us to learn that the problem of underestimation of bicycle transport in Ukrainian cities is the perception of the bicycle as a means of entertainment, not a means of transport. The Ukrainian bicycle network differs from Western European networks in that it consists of separate paths without a clear connection between them. Based on the collected information, it was highlighted that the bicycle infrastructure of the city should provide a convenient and safe route for moving between housing, work and leisure.
