Abstract

В монографії розглянуто функціонально-практичне призначення та змістовно-художню форму брами як окремого культурно-історичного явища, що залежить від факторів часу та буття. Осмислення брами у низці категорій за межами архітектури, дозволяє виявити її утилітарний, історико-культурний, мистецький та символічний зміст, що донині не був окремим предметом наукових студій. The monograph examines the functional and practical purpose and the content and artistic form of the gate as a separate cultural and historical phenomenon, which depends on the factors of time and existence. Understanding the gate in a number of categories beyond architecture allows us to reveal its utilitarian, historical and cultural, artistic and symbolic meaning, which has not been a separate subject of scientific studies until now.
